Comptroller to Attend Grand Opening of Mobtown Brewing Company in Baltimore Friday

Taproom and production facility in Brewers Hill is the latest addition to city's thriving craft beer scene

Comptroller Franchot will speak and present a proclamation at the grand opening/ribbon cutting of Mobtown Brewing Company Friday afternoon in Baltimore.

The Brewers Hill taproom will feature 18 taps and accommodate 125 patrons. A variety of beer styles, along with the house specialty kombucha, will be offered.

Mobtown is the first operational brewery in the neighborhood since Brimstone Brewing closed in 1997. Brewers Hill takes its name from the many breweries that once lined its streets, including the landmark National Brewing Company and Gunther. Brewing Company.
