Extreme Heat Causing System Failures for Taxpayer Services Statewide

Comptroller's Office to provide updates on social media

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (July 19, 2019) - Due to a heat-related system failure, the Maryland Office of the Comptroller is experiencing technical malfunctions throughout all statewide taxpayer services. The system interruption extends throughout the Annapolis complex, statewide branch offices, call centers, and services accessed online. The Maryland Department of General Services (DGS) is responsible for all maintenance and operations state buildings and is onsite working aggressively to fix the issues. Services will return as soon as possible. The Comptroller’s Office will post updates as available on the www.marylandtaxes.gov homepage and on social media pages.
