Get Involved

The Comptroller of Maryland is committed to ensuring that Marylanders in every area of the state are familiar with and able to easily access our services and resources, including data and information about key policy issues. See below for more information on how to get involved with the agency.

Volunteer for Fairs and Festivals

We welcome your ongoing involvement with the Office of the Comptroller. As part of our community outreach activities, the Office of the Comptroller participates in fairs and festival throughout the state. Our staff partners with local volunteers to help get the word out about the services we offer and the many ways we can help the people of Maryland. And we need your help!

The Comptroller of Maryland needs volunteers to help staff our tables and booths at fairs and festivals. Volunteers play a critical role greeting and speaking with community members about the resources available from the Office of the Comptroller. Volunteers do not need to be tax experts, as employees from our team also will be in attendance – and our tables will be chock full of literature and giveaways.
