The Caribbean Market, Priti's Fashion & Jewelry, and Sardi's Pollo a La Brasa to be recognized

Comptroller Peter Franchot

Comptroller Franchot will spend Thursday in Montgomery County, visiting three businesses in the multicultural heart of Takoma/Langley Crossroads. He will first stop by The Caribbean Market, a shop specializing in authentic West Indian products, where he will present a proclamation to store manager Archie Ramroop.

The Comptroller will then go to Priti's Fashion & Jewelry where he will present a proclamation to owner Priti Sheth for serving the fashion needs of the culturally diverse community for nearly 30 years.

Mr. Franchot's final stop will be at Sardi's Pollo a La Brasa, where he will honor the Sardelis family for their success and reputation for mouthwatering traditional Peruvian recipes and high-quality customer service. Since its first location opened in Beltsville in 2008, Sardi's now has 12 shops in five Maryland counties, employing hundreds and bolstering the local economy.
