Now owned by brothers John and Marty Bacon, the business was founded by their father Francis Bacon Sr. and Irving Van Dyke in 1938. They now have four stores located throughout the Baltimore region.

The Comptroller will speak about how tax-free week benefits local retailers and how Maryland college and trade school students can win scholarships of $2,500 and $1,000 through a social media contest.
