Comptroller Franchot to Recognize Two Baltimore Businesses

Station North creperie, nonprofit tool lending library will be honored

WHO:

Comptroller Peter Franchot

WHAT:

Comptroller Peter Franchot will spend Tuesday in Baltimore, honoring two businesses in Station North. He will first visit Sofi's Crepes, where he will prsent a proclamation to owner Ann Costlow, who is celebrating 15 years in business sharing her classic French creations. Since the Station North creperie opened in 2004, Sofi's has expanded to six locations across the region.

Mr. Franchot then will tour the Station North Tool Library, a non-profit tool lending library that offers training along with the tools to empower members to help themselves and their neighbors. Founders John Shea and Piper Watson have helped to build strong communities since 2012.
