Comptroller Franchot Spends Wednesday Afternoon in Queen Anne's

McCardle Center and Queen Anne's Conservation Association to be recognized

Mr. Franchot will begin his Eastern Shore visit at Sweet Bay Magnolia Academy where he will present a proclamation to Amelia Foxwell and the McCardle Center staff in recognition of their efforts to cater educational practices specifically to students ages two to eight diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. This is the first program of its kind on the Mid-Shore.

Next, the Comptroller will join former Maryland Governor Parris Glendenning and Congressman Wayne Gilchrest in congratulating the Queen Anne's Conservation Association on its 50th anniversary. This Eastern Shore organization remains committed to sustainable growth that ensures the protection of small towns, farms, waterways and open spaces.
