Franchot to Meet with Prince George's Business, Civic Leaders Friday

Visits planned to Seat Pleasant Activity Center and fire company

WHO:

WHAT:

Comptroller Franchot will spend Friday in Prince George's County, beginning in Bowie where he will participate in a roundtable discussion with local business leaders in an effort to gauge the region's business and economic climate.

Next, Mr. Franchot will tour the Seat Pleasant Activity Center, which has recently undergone several improvements thanks to generous donations from Kevin Durant, star forward of the Golden State Warriors and a Seat Pleasant native. The facility offers diverse educational, social and recreational programs for local children to build healthy, successful lives.

Finally, the Comptroller will pay a visit to the hardworking firefighters and EMT's of the Seat Pleasant Volunteer Fire Company. He will thank them for their dedication to saving lives, and their tireless community outreach efforts.
