Comptroller to Speak Tuesday at Law Enforcement Appreciation Day Ceremony in St. Mary's County

Knotted Mercantile at Cecil's Country Store will receive proclamation

WHO:

WHAT:

Mr. Franchot will travel to St. Mary's County on Tuesday to deliver remarks at the 19th Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Day Ceremony in Callaway. He will honor the lives of officers who have perished in the line of duty and award proclamations to those receiving "Officer of the Year" commendations from the various St. Mary's County law enforcement agencies.

Next, the Comptroller will head to Knotted Mercantile at Cecil's Country Store, where he will meet with new owner Misty Knott and present her with a proclamation for her efforts to transform this well- known small business with a rich history into a vibrant, updated model of a home furnishings shop.
