Heat Causes Outage to Comptroller's Offices and Online Services

DGS working to repair issues

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (July 19, 2019) - Due to a heat-related system failure, the Maryland Office of the Comptroller is experiencing technical malfunctions throughout all statewide taxpayer services. The system interruption extends throughout the Annapolis complex, statewide branch offices, call centers, and services accessed online. The Maryland Department of General Services (DGS), which is responsible for all maintenance and operations in state buildings, is on site and working aggressively to fix the issues. Services will return as soon as possible.

The Comptroller's Office will post updates on www.marylandtaxes.gov and on its social media pages.
