Comptroller to Attend Maryland Craft Beer Festival in Frederick Today

More than 40 Maryland breweries showcasing products at state's premiere festival

WHAT:

Comptroller Franchot will travel to Frederick this afternoon to greet vendors and attendees at the Maryland Craft Beer Festival. 

The event, sponsored by the Brewers Association of Maryland, features tastings from more than 40 Maryland breweries, including several that are not yet open to the public. In total, there will be more than 115 unique local craft beers available for sampling.  In addition, there will be live music, food and craft vendors. Advance ticket purchases are required for entry.
